Salon has its auditorium

It was with great joy that we learned on Tuesday, February 17, that the City Hall of Salon-de-Provence had verbally confirmed the reservation of the Salon-de-Provence auditorium for April 23 and 24. On these two evenings, the following conferences will be held:

  • Paranormal: Behind the Scenes
  • The Healers of the Shadows

with a capacity of 224 seats. Following our written request, we should therefore receive formal confirmation along with the assignment of a technician.

Thank you, Lord, for answering our prayers by opening this door! Let us now pray that people will come and be deeply touched…

Grateful to each and every one of you for your prayers,

Authorization to use “Espace 233”

On this day, Saturday, February 7, we have just received from the Mayor of the municipality of Istres authorization to operate the hall “Espace 233.” On Wednesday, April 22, we will be organizing there the conference “Paranormal: Behind the Scenes” with Emmanuel Maennlein. We clearly stated that questions of faith would be addressed during this evening. Thank you for your prayers, and thanks be to the Lord for opening the doors of public spaces!

February 6th review

On the Istres side, it seems that everything is in place. We still need to contact the Public Space Permits Department to inform them of our outreach activity in the street. Following our survey, we should have around thirty places available to host campers in Istres. The survey is currently underway on the Salon side.

At the request of Philippe Perilliat, we are submitting an official request today to GLO so that team members can come and join us. You will see that we are already listed on their schedule:
https://glo-europe.org/glo/mission-trips/

On the Salon side, at this time they do not yet have a venue for the conferences. Ben Suter has requested a meeting with the mayor but has not yet obtained one.

Thank you for praying for this.

Dates update

We have received the response from the town hall regarding the venue, and unfortunately it will not be available on Saturday evening, April 25. It will, however, be available on Wednesday, April 22.
We have therefore decided that the two conference evenings in Istres will take place on April 22 at 8:00 p.m. at Espace 233, and on April 25 at 8:00 p.m. at the church.
This has been approved by the city’s Performing Arts Department.

The conferences in Salon will therefore take place on Thursday and Friday. They are currently still looking for a venue. Thank you for praying for them.

Overview

Overview

In a context of growing skepticism toward religious institutions—often perceived as too rigid or disconnected from contemporary concerns—interest in the paranormal and occult sciences is experiencing a strong resurgence rather than a simple rise. This growing fascination with the mysterious and the unseen is not merely a matter of curiosity. It reveals a deep need for meaning and guidance. It may also reflect a legitimate fear of the future, with death seen as the only horizon. Many are searching for answers in a world they do not truly understand.

Even occasional contact with healers, fortune-tellers, and mediums can have serious consequences. The question of the impact of these practices is rarely addressed with clarity.

We believe that this interest among our contemporaries represents an extraordinary opportunity to reach them in their most urgent need: the Gospel.

This is the reason why we would like to invite you to join our team for a week of outreach in two cities in the Bouches-du-Rhône department:

  • Salon-de-Provence
  • Istres

Through street surveys, leaflet distribution, door-to-door outreach, and social media, we aim to invite as many people as possible to attend two series of conferences in Salon-de-Provence and Istres. The speaker, Emmanuel Maennlein is a specialist in the field of the occult. He regularly gives conferences and provides support to many people. Through these conferences, he aims to explore the lesser-known aspects of this world and the sometimes serious consequences it can have in people’s lives. By demonstrating that a spiritual world exists, he will invite each person to encounter its Master and Sovereign, the God of the Bible.
